How reviews, fees, and introductions work.
When will I receive payment for my credits?
The 24–48 hour window is our target for an initial review response. It is not a payout deadline. Payment timing depends on finding a suitable buyer, completing checks and agreeing a permitted transfer and payment schedule. You and the buyer agree when payment is due before proceeding. WeBuyAPI does not collect or release the purchase funds.
Do I need to set a price or commit to selling?
No. Start with your platform, remaining balance and contact details. Proof is optional at this stage. Submitting details does not commit you to a sale. You decide whether to accept a buyer’s offer after reviewing the price, fees and transaction terms.
What should I check before buying credits?
Check the credit source, remaining balance, expiry, eligible services, rate limits and any account restrictions. Ask for supporting evidence and a written agreement covering payment, permitted transfer, delivery and what happens if access fails. A displayed balance is not proof of permission to resell.
Will I need to change my code or infrastructure?
That depends on the platform and account arrangement. API keys, billing configuration, permissions, regions, model access and quotas may differ. Confirm these against your workload before agreeing a purchase; we do not promise universal compatibility or unchanged rate limits.
How do I sell unused AWS, OpenAI or Azure credits?
Fill in the seller form with the platform, remaining balance and expiry date, optionally attach a screenshot or invoice showing the balance. We review submissions by hand and aim to reply within 24–48 hours. If we have a matching buyer, we introduce you directly. There is no fee to list.
How much are unused cloud credits worth?
It depends almost entirely on transferability and time to expiry. Credits that are easy to transfer and expire in twelve months command far more than credits locked to a single account and expiring in three weeks. Rather than quote a number we can't stand behind, we tell you honestly what buyers are currently offering for your platform once we've reviewed your listing.
Is selling cloud credits allowed?
It depends on the provider. Most cloud and AI platforms restrict transfer or resale of promotional credits in their terms of service, and some prohibit it outright. We do not guarantee that any credit is transferable, and part of our review is telling you when we think a transfer is unlikely to work. You are responsible for reading your own agreement with the provider before you sell.
What does WeBuyAPI charge?
Listing is free for sellers and there is no charge to submit a buyer inquiry. A success fee may apply to a completed deal. Before agreeing an introduction, ask for a written quote specifying the payer, amount or calculation, and when the fee becomes due. Submitting the form does not authorize a fee.
Is this an automated marketplace with escrow?
No, and we'd rather say so plainly. There is no checkout, no automated matching and no escrow. Every listing is reviewed by a person, and every introduction is made by a person. Payment and credit transfer happen directly between buyer and seller.
What proof of ownership do you need?
No documents are collected through the form. We request evidence during follow-up. A billing screenshot, invoice or grant email can help us review the stated platform, balance and expiry. We may request further evidence before an introduction. A screenshot alone does not establish ownership or permission to transfer. Never share passwords, API keys or recovery codes.
How long does it take to find a buyer?
We aim to respond to submissions within 24–48 hours. This is a review response window, not a delivery deadline. Finding the right buyer takes longer and depends on the platform and the size of the balance. There is no guaranteed timeline, and sometimes we cannot find a buyer at all. We will tell you either way rather than leaving you waiting.
What happens to my data?
Submissions are not published on the website. Lead details are stored in a private Google Sheet for administrative review. We share your contact details with a prospective counterparty only after you confirm you want the introduction. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by emailing us.
