Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
The short version
Listing and enquiring are free. We never hold your money. You can withdraw a submission at any time before an introduction. Any success fee is agreed in writing first, and is not due if the deal does not complete.
There is nothing to refund on a listing
Listing credits is free and submitting a buyer enquiry is free. WeBuyAPI takes no payment at the point you use this site, so there is no charge to reverse and no subscription to cancel. If you have been asked to pay a fee in order to list credits or to see buyers, that request did not come from us.
We never hold the purchase funds
We are an introduction service, not an escrow agent or a payment processor. Money for a credit sale moves directly between the buyer and the seller on terms the two of you agree. WeBuyAPI does not receive, hold or release those funds at any point.
The practical consequence matters, so we would rather be blunt about it: if a deal goes wrong after an introduction, we have no funds to return to you, because we never had them. Any refund between a buyer and a seller is governed by the written agreement the two parties signed, which is why we tell both sides to have one.
Cancelling a submission
You can withdraw a submission at any time before an introduction is made, for any reason and without explanation. Submitting details does not commit you to a sale, and declining a buyer costs you nothing.
You can also ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any point. We will remove the record from our lead tracker rather than keep it on file.
If a success fee applies
A success fee may apply to a completed deal. Where one does, it is quoted in writing before any introduction is made, specifying who pays it, how it is calculated and when it becomes due. Submitting a form does not authorise a fee, and we do not deduct anything from a payment between you and a counterparty.
If a fee has been agreed and the deal does not complete, the fee is not due. If a fee has been paid and the underlying transaction then fails through no fault of the paying party, contact us and we will deal with it on the terms of that written quote.
If a provider voids the credits
This is the scenario worth planning for in advance. If a platform withdraws credits after a sale, the loss falls where the agreement between buyer and seller says it falls. We are not a party to that agreement and cannot compel either side to make the other whole.
Before money moves, put in writing what happens if access fails or the provider intervenes. A short clause covering that single question is worth more than anything we could promise you here.
Watch for fee-advance scams
A recurring scam in this market asks a seller to pay an upfront “verification”, “escrow” or “release” fee before a buyer’s payment arrives. We will never ask you to send money to receive money. If anyone using our name does, stop and tell us.
Getting in touch
Raise any question about fees, cancellation or deletion of your details through the seller form, and a person will reply within 24–48 hours.
