What to confirm before paying

Name the billing product

Specify whether you need Google Cloud services such as Vertex AI or a different Google developer product. Ask the seller to identify the billing account and services the credit actually covers.

Check project and organisation access

Establish who controls the project, billing account and organisation. Document any project migration, access changes and responsibility for usage that is not covered by the credit.

Match quota to the workload

Give the proposed regions, GPU requirements or AI model usage. Ask for evidence of the relevant quota and access; a large credit balance alone does not establish either.

Read the credit-specific conditions

Request the grant or offer conditions alongside the Google Cloud agreement. Confirm expiry, service restrictions and permission for the proposed arrangement before exchanging money.
