How we verify listings
Last updated: 22 September 2026
Every submission to WeBuyAPI is reviewed by a person before anything happens with it. This page explains exactly what that review does and does not establish, because a vague claim to “verify” listings is worth nothing to you.
What verification cannot prove
A screenshot showing a balance establishes that a balance was displayed. It does not establish who owns the account, that the account holder is entitled to transfer the credit, or that the provider will honour a transfer. No review we perform, and no evidence a seller can send us, changes that. Both sides carry their own risk, and you should price accordingly.
What a review involves
1. We read the submission against the provider's terms
The first question is not what your credits are worth, it is whether a permitted route exists at all. We look at the platform, the credit programme it came from, and what that provider's terms say about transfer and assignment. On some programmes the honest answer is that no permitted route exists, and we say so at this stage rather than later.
2. We ask for evidence of the balance
If a listing is worth pursuing we ask for something that corroborates the stated balance and expiry: a billing console screenshot, an invoice, or the original grant email. This confirms that what you described matches what your account shows. It is a consistency check, not a proof of ownership.
3. We hold the details privately until you agree
Submissions are never published on this site. Details sit in a private lead tracker for review. We share your contact details with a prospective counterparty only after you confirm you want that specific introduction.
4. We introduce, and then we step back
If there is a plausible match we introduce both sides with the information each needs. From that point the price, the transfer mechanism, the written agreement and the payment are yours to settle directly. We are not a party to your transaction.
What we will never ask you for
If anyone claiming to represent WeBuyAPI asks for any of the following, it is not us. Do not send it.
- Passwords for any account
- API keys, tokens or secrets
- Two-factor or recovery codes
- Root or owner account access
- Payment card or bank credentials
What we ask buyers to do
Verification is not only a seller-side process. Before we make an introduction we expect a buyer to be identifiable — a company, a domain, a named person — and we tell buyers plainly that a displayed balance is not permission to resell. A buyer who wants to move fast and asks no questions is a risk to the seller, and we would rather lose the introduction than make that one.
Questions about a listing
Ask before you send anything. Start a submission on the seller form and note your question in the details field — a person reads every one, and you are not committed to anything by asking.
